UPDATE: I was able to get the battery cover back on by removing the two rear underside screws and then using a hair dryer to "warm" up the rear part of the body cover. The female port for battery cover might b broken. Quick fix is to get a folded piece of paper. Stick in bottom part of battery area, then pop in battery over paper. It should click in and you don't need cover, battery should stay in. If not fold the paper again til thickness fits.
